WHat is a Travel Designer?

A travel designer also known as a travel advisor, travel consultant, travel agent, etc. curates, plans and books travel. We can create a trip from scratch or help book a hotel you’ve already decided on, and everything in between. Plus, we can unlock perks and VIP amenities at hotels, resorts and cruises around the world.

How much do your services cost?

Planning fees may apply for more complex trips like a multi-stop honeymoon, or for detailed itinerary planning (like restaurant reservations, tours, drivers), recommendations lists and power hours. Travel designers typically charge fees for airfare bookings. These fees are always communicated upfront; ask your advisor for clarification

WHats the Booking Process?

  • Submit a contact form on hitestravel.com

  • A Hites Travel designer will start by getting to know you and your travel preferences, so they can tailor recommendations to your taste, vacation style and budget.

  • Next, after signing our client agreement and paying the planning fee (if applied), we will deliver a custom designed itinerary based on our conversation and personal preferences. You can expect the itinerary to include ideas, inspiration and insider tips. If you also love the process of planning - we can plan together!  

  • Followed you will receive your trip documents, including a complete digital itinerary with all pertinent details on the agreed upon date. After reviewing your itinerary, we will allow a period of time for you to ask questions. We will also provide one free edit to your itinerary if desired.

i have Amex why should i use a travel designer?

  • Hites Travel offers a highly personalized booking experience; Amex bookings are made via an online booking site or call center.

But wait… how should I use my Amex?

We are Amex cardholders ourselves and love American Express benefits. Amex has a great points program, lounge access, and numerous other perks that we as cardholders love.

Our advice? Book your flights with Amex and rack up points on other expenses — but save the hotel bookings for your Hites Travel designer. WE will do all the legwork and unlock a smoother, more personalized and VIP experience.
